Francesca Sarti is an interdisciplinary designer who combines her fields of interest with experiences and research. She focuses on the world around us through a critical and creative filter on art, design and food, carving out new areas of knowledge in the process. Her work takes the form of curating exhibitions, set design, interior architecture, lecturing and teaching, art direction, illustration and styling. Above all she has established herself as the founder and creative director of design studio Arabeschi di Latte.

Due to her extensive knowledge of  design and food, Sarti has been asked to work on a number of consultancy projects for international clients in the fashion, design and food industries, including: the British Council, the Design Museum, Gruppo Illy, Selfridges, Fendi, Molteni, Gaggenau, AESOP, Ville Eugenie, Bitossi.

Sarti continues to explore her own research and is an advocate of the food design discipline. She holds recent teaching posts at the Scuola Politecnica di Design, Domus Academy in Milan; IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome; ECAL and HEAD – Haute école d’art et design in Switzerland and the Università IUAV in Venice. Sarti trained as an architect in Florence before establishing her design studio and moving to London where she now lives and works.
